Mass effect 1 texmod2/14/2023 ![]() ![]() I read that has something to do with all content before Horizon on Disc1 and the rest on Disc2 for consoles and the devs didn't want the player needing to swap discs constantly. It seems that ME2 was developed in a way that gave the player more freedom and was later restricted to have some recruitment missions before Horizon and the rest after Horizon. ![]() ![]() On PC you will be able to mod your game so that you can recruit your squad in any order you choose and the gamefiles do indeed contain all necessary ressources to support this. That is editing the savegames will not break anything in ME3, you will just not get credited for any ressources achieved in that way.Į: as just did see in another post mentioned above about Legion holds true for all squadmembers. I don't know if it is the same batch file, but I've successfully used the one from Ottemis' texmod tutorial (scroll down a bit to the 'How to launch Mass Effect (1/2/3) with Texmod' section). I play on PC anyway, but I consider this as a real benefit as planet scanning annoys me to no end. The only thing that may be worth to consider is that on PC you can get rid of planet scanning by just editing your savegame (and giving yourself any number of ressources). ![]()
